Every year, Fujitsu Laboratories of Europe hosts its annual showcase event, the Fujitsu Innovation Gathering, at a different venue around Europe. 2016 is the turn of Paris, where we are also marking Franco Japanese Innovation Year. Alongside the Fujitsu World Tour on 9th June, the Fujitsu Innovation Gathering includes 16 exciting innovations – some on show for the very first time in Europe.
Our annual event is an unparalleled opportunity to see Fujitsu Laboratories’ latest cutting edge solutions, with this year’s line-up focusing on a variety of vertical sectors including transport, manufacturing, healthcare, finance, security and retail.
New concepts on show include a new Stereoscopic 3D visualization solution that enables real-scale virtual design reviews, for smart design and manufacturing applications.
Intelligent transport is another key area, with a new solution focusing on safer driving through driver status and behavior monitoring using advanced data analytics, and another on enhanced object detection to improve road safety.
In the realm of cyber security, Fujitsu Laboratories is showing its latest advances in real-time network attack detection and recovery.
Also making its debut is a new Internet of Things (IoT) product lifecycle monitoring solution, involving low-cost smart tags that can be used to detect storage and transport environmental conditions, for example on vaccine batches and medicines.
The full day’s agenda on 9th June includes a keynote dialogue on the topic of leveraging leading-edge technologies to drive human centric innovation, between Mr Shigeru Sasaki, Fujitsu Laboratories’ CEO and Representative Director, and François Fleutiaux, Senior Vice President, Head of Sales EMEIA.
We are also staging four highly topical breakout sessions, with panels of expert speakers drawn from a wide cross-section of disciplines – discussing Open Innovation, Intelligent Computing under the Artificial Intelligence banner, Innovations for Smarter Energy, and the impact of Digital Transformation.
Some 1,000 visitors are expected to attend the event, being held at the Parc Floral de Paris (Esplanade du Château de Vincennes, 75012 Paris). To find out more and register, please go to:
