In April 2016, Rob Norris was appointed as Head of Fujitsu’s EMEIA Security business and is responsible for Security P&L and growing the capability across Europe.

Rob has responsibility for developing Fujitsu Security Offerings in order to keep pace with the business challenges created by Malware and Hackers, as technologies continue to change. In this role, he is responsible for Fujitsu Security Profit & Loss across EMEIA and leads over 400 Dedicated Security specialists.

Rob joined Fujitsu Services in December 2007. Whilst Fujitsu have been in the Security business for over four decades, Rob has been responsible for bringing together Fujitsu’s Security Business into one P&L and grew the UK&I security services business 49% in the past two years.

Previously Rob was responsible for overseeing Service Delivery Assurance on major Fujitsu projects in the UK&I, successfully ensuring key projects transitioned across to Fujitsu on time and to budget.

Prior to his Assurance role, Rob led the Fujitsu’s UK Government IT Transformation teams, taking personal ownership for the Transformation program in HMRC Aspire. During this time, Rob was instrumental in introducing new technologies into Aspire to consolidate the HMRC Server estate, delivering major cost savings to both HMRC and the UK Tax payer.

Prior to joining Fujitsu, Rob held various Senior Management roles and from 2001 was the Services Director for an Independent Security start-up company called Vistorm Ltd. At Vistorm Rob was responsible for developing the Security Support, Managed & Professional Services propositions, helping to turn a dot-com start-up company from a loss to Security revenues in excess of £50M. Vistorm was subsequently sold to EDS in April 2008 and is now part of HP Security Services in the UK.

Rob has worked in the IT Industry since 1988, starting as a Field Service Engineer working for Philips Business systems and leaving as General Manager for EMEA Enterprise Technical Support at Compaq Computer Ltd. (Philips were taken over in 1992 by Digital Equipment Company who were subsequently bought out by Compaq Computer Ltd).

Rob sits as an executive committee member of the Prince’s Trust Business in the Community (BITC), Business Emergency Response Group (BERG) Cyber response team.
