What a great first day at Fujitsu Forum 2017 here in Munich: Exciting Keynotes, engaging discussions in Expert Talks and Breakout Sessions, thriving creativity during Co-creation Sessions. Blockchain: the Opportunity Beyond the Hype

November 9th, 9.00 – 9.45 h | Room 12
Join our discussion around blockchain technology as an enabler for financial innovation. We will share thought-provoking insights, discussion points and next actions regarding this disruptive technology. This interactive session is jointly hosted with Pierre Audoin Consultants.

Innovative Digital Co-creation with Mainframes

November 9th, 9.00 – 9.45 h | Room 4
In this session, we will discuss the business challenges around digitalization and the implications for IT infrastructure and services. Key topics include decisions around on- or off-premise, DIY or buy, continuance of mission critical core applications (typically based on own developed applications), integration of existing teams and other related aspects. The need for a “Digital Transformation Platform” with tailor-made modifications and building blocks will be underlined by typical usage scenarios that demonstrate the indisputable value of mainframes – today and in future.

Keynote – Exploring the Implications of Digital Disruption

Leading Thinkers50 speaker and author Rita McGrath, Professor of Management at Columbia Business School, will explore the implications of the digital age on our understanding of established concepts such as industries, corporations, employment, partnerships and competition.

The Possibilities of Quantum Computing

November 9th, 12.00 – 12.40 h | Room 14
The 5th and final keynote at Fujitsu Forum 2017 will be given by our Chief Technology Officer EMEIA, Dr. Joseph Reger, Fujitsu Fellow. He will provide thought-provoking insights into the implications and the direction of Quantum Computing.

Fujitsu Forum Start-Up Award

November 9th, 12.40 – 13.00h | Room 14
Held for the first time at this year’s Fujitsu World Tour, five start-ups presented their innovative ideas on new and fresh B2B-solutions for digital transformation. In addition to the prize money, the first three winners also earned a partnership with Fujitsu. We`re very much looking forward to seeing the winners again at Fujitsu Forum again and see what innovative solutions they further developed over the past few months.
